This is what you see from Daily Kos reading liberals whose hatred and emotion rule over any semblance of rational thinking that might have existed.

poll2.jpg

Of course 1 out of the 236 votes for George Bush is from yours truly, but I can honestly say that if they ran the poll with any front running Democrat I would gladly vote Democrat over Islam, as I would hope any red blooded American would. But the liberals at Columbia also invited President Ahmadinejad to speak, so I guess we are talking liberals, not red blooded Americans.

Acute BDS is sweeping our nation in a way that no bird flu could ever touch.

Their are already two tangents I see happening in this story that seem to be driven mostly by BDS. First where did these leaflets come from? Who made them? ThinkProgress ended their early article with this:

ThinkProgress spoke with one of the delegation’s military escorts, Maj. Toby Patterson, who said that he didn’t know who made the bios or why they were created in the first place. He added that his office, the Marine Corps liaison for the U.S. House of Representatives, usually just uses lawmakers’ readily-available bios off of congressionalquarterly.com.

But commenters were immediately saying this:

The right lies through their teeth and they are corrupting our military like they have corrupted Congress

Unbelievable. Just when you think this administration can’t sink any lower, they’re caught lying to our troops about the very people who are most interested in getting them out of harm’s way.

So who do we trust at this early point? Major Toby Patterson or a bunch of BDS afflicted whackos?

Second tangent is misinformation about the Senator who did vote to keep the troops there and then voted not to.

they were not exactly accurate. Under “latest Iraq vote,” Tauscher’s bio noted that she had voted in favor of legislation requiring the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq

She did vote that way — in May. On Aug. 2, Tauscher voted in favor of her own bill, which mandates that troops be granted a leave from combat at least as long as their last combat deployment before being shipped back to Iraq.

The problem with this big BDS media frenzy at this point, is that if we don’t know who printed the leaflets, then how are we sure which vote was the “latest Iraq vote,” that was quoted. There isn’t that much time between August 2nd and last week. And other than this one little potential error, I haven’t heard that anything else is inaccurately reported.

Are the Democrats afraid the troop will find out how much they don’t support the troops?

The people who work at Amnesty International must be so steeped in Bush Derangement Syndrome that they don’t even realize how bizarre this “poll” is, on a page of their annual report.

This is so bizarre that it is a must see. Axis of Evil.

Wow! they took it down quick, go see what it did look like at LGF

I endure daily, the writings and rantings of people who have such an all consuming hatred for our President, that they have difficulty functioning as normal thinking humans.

Anyone who has ever listened to the Joe Teehan show surely knows what I mean. You can see his face getting red right through the radio as he attempts to blame President Bush for everything thing bad that has and ever will occur. The other night I’m sure he was implying that our President was drowning polar bears for his own pleasure. But until I read this Sound Politics post the other day, I never knew this is disease, not simple idiocy afflicting so many around the world.

Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) was apparently identified by political columnist Charles Krauthammer. Krauthammer is also a retired psychiatrist and he describes BDS as:

the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency — nay — the very existence of George W. Bush.

He also gives a few examples of how the disease is manifest: Continue reading »
