Even though I have no idea who owns this car, I really admire their passion. There were hundreds of vehicles in the parking lot of the Great Wolf Lodge last weekend. I can’t tell you how many cars were graced with shiny fish or crosses in a more subdued proclamation of faith; I didn’t notice any. But who could not notice this car owners proclamation of trust in Jesus Christ. I admire their unashamed proclamation.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
(Rom 1:16-17 NIV)
Even though my car sports only a tiny shiny cross, I pray that my proclamation of faith will not go unnoticed in other ways.
