Louis Farrakhan Calls Obama the Messiah

One of the originals in the now long line of questionable characters seem to gravitate towards one Barack Obama.   I myself am going to hold my breath for a little more godly messiah.

I wasn’t sure whether to post this under politics, religion, or pure drivel.  I went with politics and religion, keeping the pure drivel purely my drivel.

  1. The video abruptly ended because Farrakhan’s words in context would have contradicted the right-wing spin cycle:

“Sen. Obama is not the Messiah for sure, but anytime, he gives you a sign of uniting races, ethnic groups, ideologies, religions and makes people feel a sense of oneness, that’s not necessarily Satan’s work, that is I believe the work of God.”

  2. I hate to have been gotcha’d, but that may be the case. I’m not finding the words in your comment to be the next lines, but I haven’t found the complete video to be sure. I did find a site that claims the next words are as follows:

“Brothers and sisters, Barack Obama to me, is a herald of the Messiah. Barack Obama is like the trumpet that alerts you something new, something better is on the way.”

It doesn’t really matter if Louis Farrakhan refers to Sen. Obama as the messiah, a messiah or as a herald of the messiah. It’s difficult for me to find anything about Barack Obama that is Christ like or messianic.
